The Reds won the first game of this series 8-3, demonstrating the quality of an offense that has averaged just 3.88 runs scored, but has been much more consistent recently, and their pitchers have looked very good. Carson Spiers will be their starter in this game, and although he is coming off a bad outing, in his previous game he had pitched 6.0 innings of only 1 run allowed. The Reds have looked more solid than the Orioles, so we expect them to take the win.

For their part, the Orioles have left much to be desired, but they usually produce runs, and against a vulnerable Spier, we expect them to contribute and give us an entertaining game.
